‘I’ve travelled a lot, and cities such as New York, Miami, and London have taught me a lot about how women define and practise the art of being well-dressed. My goal is to create a whole new generation of career women who exude power, independence, and strength by their way of dressing.’

Prabbena Vara’s passion for fashion runs in her family. Her Sri Lankan mother was a tailor herself and at the early age of 13, Prabbena designed her very first set of clothes.

‘I want it to be obvious that I grew up wearing a school uniform, have travelled most of the world, and have served military service in the air force. A rigid design accentuated by straight lines, uniform style influences and stripes on the shoulders – both literally and figuratively.’ This is Prabbena’s own interpretation of the powerful, feminine style that is her signature.
